Having done other cryptic killers case files before we had this as a gift. It was an enjoyable experience and we had a great time piecing together the clues and the details of the crime. My only issue, is that unlike other cases, the most important clues were online and not in the actual pack. While we were able to view them one by one, this did take away from the fun a little! Having the online sources in the physical pack would have been a lot more interesting to work out and would have been a great non-digital activity to do. However, we still enjoyed and had a lovely afternoon catching the killer. Thank you!
Great game really enjoyed the challenge with the my wife assisting we did need the hints but had the solution before the end and even the reason plus escape route used.
My first cryptic killer case and thoroughly enjoyed it! The evidence pieces were fabulous particularly the range of different sources and the theming! We worked on it as a family ranging from age 10 to age 74 and all loved it! Such good fun , will definitely be trying another case!
Pretty good case, but not as good as the rest of the range of cryptic killers. Didn’t like the theme so much and how it was also old fashioned, but besides that and the confusion of two Clarence’s, it was a decent case
Bought this for my 15yr old daughter for Christmas and spent the evening working through it together. We both absolutely loved how it all unfolded with each piece of evidence we read. We spent a.good 3hours linking all the characters to thw story and their motives/alibi and selected the correct murderer. Would definitely recommend. Thinking of which one to get next!!
