A really fun way to spend an evening! The case file is packed with intriguing clues and it's obvious a lot of effort has been made to make the investigation both challenging but also all come together at the end - we'll definitely be buying more! Also better than others that we've tried!!
Absolutely brilliant game, will definitely buy other ones.
This was a fantastic experience!
Big props to the creator, great puzzle i did with my wife for her bday and we both were really happy!
10/10 recommend.

The good - We loved how everything made sense. The map, routes, locations, footage, times, newspaper, everything was absolutely on point. It was very well thought of. How everything connected was great and the "aha" moments were actually real feel good ones.
The detail that went into designing was also great. Felt like real police footage and documents. The cctv was nice too. As were the handwritten documents. It seemed like the puzzle clues were made by mostly human design rather than AI slop, so even if AI was used it really didnt feel like AI, and it was definitely well edited. Nothing didnt make sense (like the birthdate being feb 31st lol) and small details from different files added up too.
Suggestions - We didnt get much info about the killer. Her full name, motive (other than the text chain we didnt know she needed money) and other things that would place her at the scene or suggest she was the one. But as the instructions said it was trial and error. We had solved it an hour ago but both me and my wife went on an overthinking spree (what if nicole was cured and faking it, what if jeremy had time to go there etc). And we spent a long long time trying to find the smoking gun, like trying that pencil rubbing technique on the threatening note (lol), visiting olivespizzzza.co.uk, etc. Also we thought we had to find jade's full name and other details to find the smoking gun. It was a process of elimination and we had more or less eliminated most suspects before we started overthinking. Also, the actual death of her falling on the knife seemed a bit unrealistic after the "scuffle". It wasnt easy to picture.
All said and done, great time spent. My wife and i are experts at cryptograms so upon seeing the scrambled message we were like this is our jam!
Thanks to the creator and the team!
This was the first 'Cryptic Killers' I had tried, and on the whole I found it most enjoyable. The whole thing was put together very well and the storyline was believable. The 'casefile' documents provided were very professional in quality. I found the case satisfyingly difficult to solve, although I did manage to identify the culprit. There is one thing however I found a problem with: one of the items of evidence was a photograph taken at a new year's eve party, and one of the people at the party had supposedly had their face crossed out. It was also necessary to to be able to see the clothing this person was wearing to compare with another piece of evidence to identify the person. However, my eyesight is not brilliant and it looked to me like the face was covered with net, rather than being crossed out by a pen. I could also not make out the clothing the person was wearing. This is not the maker's fault, but I think the photograph should have been clearer. Apart from that though, I thoroughly enjoyed playing the game, and I look forward to getting another in the series.
Really well put together! Me and my partner loved solving this case and we thought all the evidence provided was really well thought out and creative.
